Yidan Chen

Yidan Chen is a Research Analyst at WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities in China. She focuses on equitable transition towards carbon neutrality, climate-resilient infrastructure, and urban and community climate-smart applications. Prior to WRI, Yidan worked for a multinational infrastructure consulting firm in Beijing, delivering urban planning and design strategies for urban regeneration and TOD projects in number of cities in China.
Yidan holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in urban and regional planning from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and University of California, Los Angeles, respectively.
