Yen Bui is Grants and Finance Manager for the Urban Mobility program at WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. In this role, Yen is responsible for overseeing budgets and a wide portfolio of funds, including multi-year, multi-faceted international grants. She supports project coordinators and managers to responsibly manage overall program finances and to maintain a healthy financial system.

Before joining WRI, Yen was at the International Finance Corporation, supporting the Operating Principles for Impact Management Secretariat to bring greater discipline and transparency to the impact investing market. She has a background in corporate finance and development project management. Her work and passions have taken her to countries across Latin America, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and most recently, Eastern Africa.

Yen holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs.

Yen was born in Southern Vietnam and grew up in the Midwest of the United States.
