William is a Research Intern in the Energy Program.

Prior to joining WRI as an intern, William worked as a legislative intern at the Maryland General Assembly in Annapolis, MD, where he provided research and support for legislative priorities across a broad range of policy areas, including renewable energy and sustainability. He also worked as a District Office Intern for a member of Congress, where his work expanded the district's legislative priorities.

William is pursuing a B.A. in Government and Politics with a minor in Sustainability Studies at the University of Maryland, where he is expected to graduate this May. At Maryland, he is a participant in UMD’s Federal Fellows Program with a concentration in Energy and Environmental Policy.

William is from Bel Air, MD and enjoys hiking, nature, and exploring DC.
