Tian Yu is a Research Analyst II with the Economics Center at the World Resources Institute. His work focuses on the topic of climate change adaptation. Currently, he is working on evaluating climate-resilient infrastructure investment in China.

Prior to joining WRI, Tian worked as a researcher at Wageningen University & Research with interests in Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology, especially in sustainable development in agricultural production. His research focused on resource use at the farm level.

Tian holds a Ph.D. degree from Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands, and a MSc & a BA degree in Agricultural Economics from Renmin University of China.

Tian likes to go hiking and camping on vacation. As for daily hobbies, he likes reading and watching movies.
