Tanmoy Chatterjee is a Senior Manager with the Sustainable Landscape Restoration program at World Resources Institute India. Here, he manages WRI led program on Sustainable Agriculture Initiative within the FOLU India platform that aims to identify pathways and bring transformative changes to balance the economic, environmental, and social outcomes for secured rural livelihoods. He brings expertise in technical agriculture and programme management. Tanmoy works at the intersection between agriculture and environment to promote nature-based solutions to farming challenges. In addition, his work focuses on designing and scaling-up adoption of sustainable agricultural practices among small and marginal farmers.

Before joining World Resources Institute India, Tanmoy worked with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to roll-out large-scale sustainable agriculture programme in different Indian states. He has also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to advise sub-national governments on agricultural value chain development and market linkage.

Tanmoy is a graduate in agricultural sciences and holds a masters in Agribusiness Management from MANAGE, Hyderabad. In his spare time, he likes to read fiction.
