Bio

Stephanie Jamilla is a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Assistant for Global Forest Watch and the Managing for Results team. She supports day-to-day MEL operations for GFW and works to expand M&E capacity for other similar data platforms within WRI.

Prior to her current position, Stephanie was a MEL intern for GFW and supported the quantitative portion of its impact assessment. She has also worked various internships in M&E, data analysis, and international development. This included holding positions at APCO Insight, the public opinion research group of APCO Worldwide; Americares, a global health and emergency response NGO; and Friends for Street Children Association, a grassroots non-profit located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Stephanie has a B.A. in International Affairs from the George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs. She concentrated in International Development and Environmental Studies, along with having a minor in Geographic Information Systems.

Stephanie is originally from the Chicagoland area but has since relocated to the District.
