Stephanie Jamilla is a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Specialist for Global Forest Watch. She leads the implementation and development of GFW's MEL strategy.

Prior to her current position, Stephanie was the MEL intern for GFW and supported the program's quantitative impact assessment. She also had previously worked various internships in MEL, data analysis, and international development. This included holding positions at APCO Insight, the public opinion research group of APCO Worldwide; Americares, a global health and emergency response NGO; and Friends for Street Children Association, a grassroots non-profit located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Stephanie has a B.A. in International Affairs from the George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs. She concentrated in International Development and Environmental Studies and minored in Geographic Information Systems.

Stephanie is originally from the Chicagoland area but has since relocated to the District.
