Shweta Lamba
Project Associate, Sustainable Landscapes and Restoration, WRI India

Shweta Lamba is a Project Associate with the Sustainable Landscapes and Restoration team at World Resources Institute India. Here her work is primarily focused on research on Food Loss and Waste.
Prior to joining WRI, Shweta has experience and knowledge in the field of sustainable agriculture and natural resource management. During her consulting role, she undertook several research assignments including monitoring and evaluation, impact evaluation, and project design assignments across India. She has also worked with an implementation organization at the last mile on building entrepreneurship among women.
Shweta comes from a diverse educational background, with a master’s degree in Forestry Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, and a bachelor’s in commerce from the University of Delhi. She is a former national Table Tennis player and enjoys reading non-fiction.
