Sarah Sarkar is a Digital Specialist in the Food Program. She works on WRI Food's various initiatives to develop and implement online engagement strategies across social media, email marketing, website content and development, online events, and more.

Prior to joining WRI, Sarah supported the communications teams at mission-driven organizations such as Wildlife SOS and Rock Creek Conservancy, and most recently the Graduate Office at George Mason University.

Sarah holds a MA in Strategic Communications from George Mason University and a BSc in Environmental Biology from Christopher Newport University.

Sarah lives in the Washington metropolitan area.
