Passionate about sustainable development, Sandy believes in the power of partnerships and multi-stakeholder collaboration to tackle today’s challenges and create a world that serves people and planet.

Before joining WRI, Sandy worked for the German-based consulting company Endeva where she supported the team as a Research Analyst and Junior Project Manager on various projects. The focus of Sandy’s work has been on global food and health systems, and she is interested in supporting local communities and improving their livelihoods in harmony with nature.

Sandy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economic Education from the University of Mannheim, a double master’s degree in International Management from the University of Passau and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras as part of the A New Passage to India – DAAD Scholarship program.

She is currently based in Sydney but originating from a small town in Western Germany. She enjoys yoga and loves hiking, preferably in the Austrian alps.
