Rohit Tak is a manager in the Sustainable Cities: Urban Transport and Road Safety program at the World Resources Institute (WRI) India, where his work focuses on Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety in the Indian, Thai and Vietnamese contexts. His efforts are focused towards making cities walk-able, bike-able and thus, safer for all street users, including children.

Before joining WRI, Rohit has worked for six years in the field of architecture and urban design in India and internationally on projects including Complete Street Design projects in California and Tender SURE street design project in Bengaluru. His other international work experience includes community planning and engagement, transit-oriented developments and downtown revitalization projects.

Rohit holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Pune University and a master’s degree in urban design from the University of California at Berkeley, for which he received the prestigious Fulbright Fellowship.
