Reed Grumann is a Communication and Operations Coordinator at the WRI Center for Sustainable Business.

Previously, he was Communications & Engagement Intern with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). His work supported the SBTi by advancing public visibility and coordinating internal communications efforts.

Before joining WRI, Reed worked as a Science Writing Intern for the BioTechnology Institute at the University of Minnesota where he developed articles, blog posts, research summaries, and website content for the public. Reed has also conducted research on topics ranging from environmental microbiology to biology education. He has also worked on multiple political campaigns and in the offices of several elected officials.

In the fall of 2021, Reed will complete a BS in Microbiology and Political Science at the University of Minnesota.

Reed lives in Minneapolis where he can be found camping during any of the four seasons, listening to Dr. Dog, and expanding his collection of plants.
