Ramesh is a Project Associate in WRI India’s Energy program and will support clean energy efforts in the state of Tamil Nadu.

He has previously worked with Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), India’s super ESCO. At EESL he was supporting multiple projects on efficient streetlighting, EV charging and building efficiency at the national and state levels in partnership with government agencies.

Ramesh holds a bachelor’s in engineering. He also holds an advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Renewable Energy from TERI School of Advanced Studies and another Post Graduate Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering from National Power Training Institute (NPTI).

He is passionate about nature and the environment. An avid chess player, Ramesh’s other hobbies are cycling and movies.
