Parvathi Preethan
Senior Project Associate, Climate Resilience Practice, WRI India
Parvathi Preethan is a Senior Project Associate with the Climate Resilience Practice team at WRI India. Her responsibilities include policy research, stakeholder engagement and capacity building. She is currently involved in WRI’s work on mainstreaming adaptation and resilience into development and enhancing readiness to access climate finance in India.
Prior to joining WRI India, Parvathi has briefly worked as a researcher with the Centre for Public Policy Research and LSE Cities.
She holds an MSc in Environmental Economics and Climate Change from the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a bachelor’s with honors in Economics from the University of Delhi.
In her free time, Parvathi dabbles in creative writing for online platforms. She unwinds by taking long walks, reading and watching games of Liverpool FC.
