Paras Paruthi is a Senior Associate for Security and Reporting at the World Resources Institute, supporting the institute’s wider digital transformation and innovation efforts. His work spans technology operations, data reliability, and organizational security. Paras helps maintain dependable core systems, strengthens access to organizational data, and supports the ERP environment that underpins many of WRI’s internal processes. He also contributes to cybersecurity operations by monitoring risks, assisting in incident response, and helping maintain a resilient digital ecosystem across WRI’s global network.

Paras brings a practical, systems-focused approach to technology. Much of his work involves improving the clarity, performance, and usability of the tools staff depend on each day. He supports ERP reporting needs, works with teams to align workflows with business requirements, and helps keep processes running smoothly across interconnected systems. He also contributes to integration efforts that help information move reliably between platforms and supports the institute’s Zero Trust Network Access environment to ensure secure, steady access for staff. His aim is to reduce friction, strengthen reliability, and make technology feel intuitive rather than obstructive.

Paras continues to expand his expertise in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise technologies. He is especially interested in how secure, thoughtfully designed digital systems can enable nonprofits to operate confidently, collaborate across borders, and scale impact responsibly.

Outside of work, he enjoys exploring new places and diving into ideas about how technology shapes the world.
