Grants and Finance Coordinator, Global Restoration Initiative

Bio

Olena (Elena) is a Grants and Finance Coordinator for Global Restoration Initiative under the Forest Program at WRI. She is responsible for overseeing budgets, contracts and sub-contracts for the various projects within GRI. Elena began her career at WRI in the Accounting department.

Elena previously worked at Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants as a Staff Accountant, handling the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, monthly reconciling and audit assistance.

Elena holds a B.A. in Enterprise Economics from Odessa National Economics University.

In her free time – she enjoys dancing Salsa and Bachata, hiking and kayaking.
