Nikita Luke is the Project Manager for Health and Road Safety at WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities, leading initiatives that prioritize health in urban road infrastructure. Her work focuses on advancing sustainable transport solutions, enhancing road safety through walking and cycling infrastructure, low-speed zones and advocating for the "Safe Systems approach."

With a background in architecture and sustainable urban environments, Nikita is dedicated to fostering healthier, greener cities. Previously, she played a pivotal role at Youth Build Boston, leading the design team and mentoring under-served youth in the construction industry.

Nikita holds a master’s degree in sustainable urban environments from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S., and a bachelor’s degree in architecture from BMS College of Engineering in Bengaluru, India. She is certified as a LEED Green Associate and TRUE Advisor.

Nikita contributes to research on road safety and sustainable transport, supporting the team in developing impactful research papers and guidebooks. Her expertise drives initiatives aimed at creating safer and more sustainable urban environments globally.
