Natalie Winston is a Project Coordinator in WRI's Governance Center. She provides operational support to the Environmental Democracy Practice and Land and Resource Rights initiative.

Prior to joining WRI, Natalie worked as a contractor in the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Foreign Assistance, where she coordinated a diverse portfolio of U.S. foreign aid for programs related to climate change and environment, education, gender, and international organizations. Natalie also previously worked as a contractor in the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Office of Food for Peace, where she supported the monitoring, evaluation, and oversight of agriculture and food security programs in more than 55 countries.

Natalie holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota—Twin Cities.

She enjoys traveling, figure skating, and riding horses.
