Matt Herbert

Matt Herbert is the Communications Manager for Climate at World Resources Institute, United States. In this role, he works to advance climate action on all levels of government and in high-emitting sectors through strategic and creative communications.
Prior to joining WRI, Matt worked as a journalist for Environment & Energy Publishing (E&E News) and as a communications professional for the Society for Conservation Biology and Sustainable Forestry Initiative.
Matt holds a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Conservation Biology from the University of Minnesota. In his free time, Matt likes to backcountry hike, travel, read and spend time in his home state of South Dakota.
