Mary Helen Wood
Program Management Data Analyst, WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities

As the Program Management Data Analyst in the Ross Center for Sustainable Cities' Program and Project Management Office, Mary Helen Wood is responsible for managing and analyzing data from the Cities program's projects worldwide. She collaborates with project teams and support functions to improve program and project management processes, design and update online tools, develop guidance on best practices, and produce reports that allow teams and leadership to monitor and evaluate the Cities Program's work and make data-driven decisions.
Prior to joining WRI, she conducted oral history research with coal mining communities in Central Appalachia and served as an intern at PBS Books.
Mary Helen was a Trinity Scholar at Duke University, where she earned a B.A. in History and Statistics with a concentration in the History of Human Rights and Social Movements. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, reading about citizenship and human migration, and playing soccer around D.C.'s green spaces.
