Leanne Kaplan
Alliance & Policy Manager, NUMO Alliance

Leanne Kaplan is an Alliance & Policy Manager for NUMO, the New Urban Mobility alliance, hosted by WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. She manages federal policy for NUMO and engagement with allies and diverse stakeholders to create just and sustainable cities for people.
Prior to joining WRI, Leanne managed special events for Central Park Conservancy in New York City. As a graduate student, she worked at the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), assisting countries in planning metropolitan regions for sustainable urbanization. She also worked as a consultant for Fundación Corona to help implement open government in Colombian cities.
Leanne holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Miami.
Leanne lives in Washington, D.C. and enjoys cooking, exploring new cities, gardening, and long walks with her dog, Willow.
