As Social Media Manager, Laura López leads the development and implementation of WRI's social media strategy with a focus on crafting compelling content to increase brand awareness and strengthen public and partner relations.

She brings over ten years of experience as a content creator and a demonstrated history of working in international affairs. Prior to joining WRI’s global office , Laura was the Digital Communications Specialist for Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G) and, previously, the content creator at the U.S. Embassy in Bogota, Colombia where she led the conceptualization and implementation of communication strategies.

Laura has a postgraduate degree in Marketing from Grenoble École de Management in Grenoble, France and dual bachelor's degrees in Media Arts and Portuguese from The University of New Mexico. She is fluent in Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French.

Laura is passionate about gender equity and LGBTQ+ rights. During her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, reading, and learning languages.
