Kajol is a Manager with the Energy program at WRI India. Based out of the Bengaluru office, she works towards ensuring the enhancement of energy efficiency and clean energy in industries, and towards successful progress for energy transition in India. Her primary focus is integrating energy efficiency and clean energy activities in C&I customers, partner organizations, regulators, and utilities. She also supports building efficiency Initiative and the Green Power Market Development Group (GPMDG) in India.

Prior to joining WRI India, Kajol worked as Assistant Director at National Productivity Council (Ministry of Commerce and Industry). There, she focused on policy advocacy and consultancy services in energy efficiency and sustainable development for large industries, MSMEs, and utilities. Between 2010-15, she was part of Perform, Achieve and Trade (PAT) Cycle – 1 Bureau of Energy Efficiency Scheme for designated consumers in India.

She holds a master’s in technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
