Jordon Blackford is the Operations & Management Associate for WRI's Electric School Bus Initiative. She oversees financial management and supports project and partner management for this program, which is focused on electrifying the entire fleet of 480,000 school buses in the United States by the year 2030.

Prior to joining WRI, Jordon worked as the Director of Enactus United States, an international non-profit organization dedicated to creating a better, more sustainable world by developing the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders to use innovation and business principles to improve the world. Jordon held multiple leadership positions in her eight-year tenure with Enactus, prior to which she served as a project manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where she coordinated regulatory permits under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.

Jordon holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Nevada, Reno as well as an M.S. in Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University's School of Sustainability.

Jordon lives in Reno, NV, where she enjoys all things outdoors with her husband, Calder, and two dogs, Benji and Piper.
