Joe Winn is an Intern in WRI's Global Electric Mobility team. He works to improve electric vehicle battery supply chains (emphasizing end of life outcomes) through policy recommendations, data analysis, tool development, and technological research.

Prior to joining WRI, Joe worked in business analytics, program management, and people management. Most recently he was a Business Analytics Manager at YouTube, working to prevent harmful content from reaching users of the platform.

Joe is expected to complete his M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University in December 2023 and holds a B.S. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Joe lives in New York City and loves the city's diversity and public transportation system.
