Jincy Chacko is a Senior Communications Associate at World Resources Institute India's Energy program. Here, she handles communications for the Energy Transition Preparedness Initiative (ETPI) of the program.

Jincy comes to World Resources Institute India with 8 years of experience in the social impact space. She began her career with 94.3 MY FM and moved on to write for national and regional publications like The HinduDeccan HeraldThe TribuneHindustan Times, The Better India, and more. She envisions herself in the development sector making a difference with her ability to visualize and solve problems creatively.

Jincy holds a bachelor’s and a master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication from Guru Nanak Dev University and a second master’s in English Literature. She has a strong affinity towards psychology and behavioral sciences.

In her free time, she loves writing, drawing, learning about Sufism and spirituality, dancing, reading fiction, and watching films.
