Hui Zeng is the Water Agriculture Energy Nexus Research Analyst of the WRI China Food and Natural Resources Program.

Prior to joining WRI, Hui Zeng worked in ChangCe Thinktank as the research fellow and program officer, as well as the supervisor of ChangCe Foundation. She participated a number of public policy researches in the field of energy, power and strategic planning. Before that, She worked as research assistant in the University of Chinese Academy of Science, to support researches on technology innovation. She also worked once in the United Engineering Inc. (Ontario, Canada) as engineering consultant for power-supply system optimization and finalization.

Hui Zeng has a cross-disciplinary education background with the master degree of technology innovation and management at University of New South Wales (Australia), and bachelor degree of electrical engineering at University of Alberta (Canada).
