HJ Toh
Visiting Fellow, Global Forest Watch
Hua Jie Toh, or HJ for short, is a Professional Fellow under the Department of State's Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative. He is also the cofounder of SEAD Bamboo - an impact enterprise in Malaysia that plants, harvests, and turns bamboo into building materials. He also spearheads an initiative funded by public-private partnerships to digitize the bamboo supply chain in Malaysia.
During his time at WRI, HJ will be working on a study on the state of Malaysia's forest monitoring capability.
