Harish is a Senior Research Specialist in the Energy Program at World Resources Institute India, where he works on supporting clean energy policies, power sector planning, modeling efforts, and strategies for sustainable clean energy transformation.

He comes to World Resources Institute India with significant experience working with large conglomerates such as Schneider Electric and Mahindra Group under their renewable energy arm. He has over 7+ years of expertise in the Indian energy market, renewable energy consulting, distributed solar systems, business development, strategic planning, and supporting C&I consumers to achieve RE100 and carbon neutrality goals.

Harish holds an MBA in Finance from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. He is based in Chennai.

Harish strives to become a carbon-neutral individual by adopting eco-friendly practices on a daily basis, such as opting for public transport, terrace gardening, and distributing seed balls and plants as gifts on special occasions.
