Hannah Thomas is a Communications and Events Coordinator for the Global Food and Land Use Coalition (FOLU). In this role, Hannah will support media engagement and social media activities and be involved in a range of other key communications and marketing activities for the The Food and Land Use Coalition (FOLU).

Hannah has a passion for social change and making a difference. She is driven by a desire to explore new cultures and broaden her horizons. Studying abroad in China and volunteering abroad in Fiji has also enabled her to actively contribute to community development projects, demonstrating a strong sense of social responsibility on a global scale and an ability to collaborate with diverse teams. Hannah was also selected to participate in the prestigious ParliaMentors scheme.

She had the privilege of being mentored by a Member of Parliament, gaining valuable insights into the political landscape, and developing a nuanced understanding of the policymaking processes. Furthermore, Hannah successfully led her own social action project as part of this programme, utilising her skills and knowledge to address a pressing social issue. Moreover, building on a passion for organising impactful events, Hannah decided to start her own creative events company. With an entrepreneurial spirit and an eye for detail, she has established a reputation for delivering exceptional events that leave a lasting impression on clients and attendees alike.

Hannah holds a degree in BA International Relations and a MA in Global Development and International Political Economy.
