Haley is currently a project and research coordinator for the Forests program at WRI. She provides administrative and research support across multiple projects focused on forest emissions reductions and removals in carbon markets. Prior to joining the Forests program, she was a research intern for the US Climate program at WRI and worked on America Is All In research that quantified the impact of U.S. climate policies.

Prior to joining WRI, she worked as an economic policy intern with Friends of the Earth U.S., helping to launch their Banks and Biodiversity campaign. Outside of WRI, she is currently working with a team at the Cornell Center for Conservation Bioacoustics on a paper classifying orangutan long calls.

She holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Eckerd College and plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy in the fall. She is excited to be pursuing a career that combines her interests in biodiversity and climate change by studying nature-based climate change solutions.
