Frances Molesworth is the Communications Manager for the WRI’s Climate Program. She brings her breadth of experience in communications and in the climate space, spanning campaign and project management, strategic communications, marketing, fundraising, and film production. With her passion for driving concrete climate action through strategic communications, in her role, she focuses on enhancing upcoming Nationally Determined Contributions, the adoption of an ambitious new global finance goal at COP29, and driving greater climate ambition at COP29 that meets the needs of climate-vulnerable countries, through the Allied for Climate Transformation by 2025 consortium. 

Prior to joining the WRI, she was a Producer at RE:TV, an online channel part of the Sustainable Market’s Initiative, founded by HM King Charles III. There, she produced over 75 films about solutions to climate change, across a wide range of sectors and industries, and loved attending COP26-28. Utilising her storytelling skills at the BBC, with Bloomberg, and at UNICEF UK, she enjoyed leading campaigns that make a real difference globally. 

Frances holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Bristol, and a Bachelor’s in Politics, Psychology and Sociology (PPS) from the University of Cambridge. 

Based in London, Frances loves to dance, trains regularly in kickboxing, and enjoys travelling.
