Fiona McRaith is a Research and Engagement Specialist in the Executive Office, where she works primarily supporting WRI’s President. She also works with WRI’s Managing Director and Chief of Staff. In this role, Fiona helps to curate and communicate the research from across the institute to contribute to the real-world impact of the programs. She formerly interned with the WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities on the exciting inaugural WRI Ross Prize.

Prior to joining WRI, Fiona was an intern with a Short Term Action Group within the White House’s Office of Management and Budget. She contributed research for the report, Standards and Finance to Support Community Resilience. Fiona also worked with the Alliance for the Great Lakes as their Stewardship and Education Affiliate, where she deepened constituent engagement and developed the curriculum for a partnership with a high school summer program. Fiona also currently serves as a youth delegate for SustainUS, a youth-led organization advancing justice and sustainability by empowering young people to engage in advocacy.

Fiona holds a B.A. in International Development Studies with an emphasis on Environment from McGill University.

In her spare time, Fiona enjoys listening to new and old tunes, drinking coffee, running, practicing yoga, and picnicking.
