Elisabeth St. Onge is a Communications Coordinator II in the Energy Program. She develops and executes impactful communication strategies that extend the Energy Program’s influence, media coverage, and online presence.

Prior to joining WRI, Elisabeth worked at various organizations within the political sphere. She held a Directorship of Communications for the American University Undergraduate Senate and interned in the offices of Speaker Pelosi, British MP David Lammy, and the Senate Rules Committee. Elisabeth also served as the Assistant Director for American University’s Campaign Management Institute.

Elisabeth holds a B.A. in Political Science from American University. In 2021, she completed her Master’s Degree in Political Science at American University with distinction in the concentration of Applied Politics.

Elisabeth lives in Washington, D.C., with her partner Samuel and their cats Willow and Tarot. In her free time, she enjoys engaging in activism, traveling, hiking, and skiing.
