Courtnae Bailey
Associate, Adaptation Finance
Courtnae Bailey is an Associate, Adaptation Finance in the Governance Center. She works across the full range of activities undertaken by the Adaptation Finance and Investment team.
Courtnae completed her MSc Hydrology and Water Resources Management from Imperial College London and an MSc Climate Change Management and Finance from Imperial College Business School. Courtnae’s PhD research focused on increasing Climate adaptation Finance in the Small Island States with a specific focus on the Eastern Caribbean.
She is actively engaged in environmental awareness groups and is passionate about sustainability and resilience. Her background in science and policy is complemented by her experience working in the public and private sector as a climate change consultant, sustainability analyst, climate finance advisor, and technical advisor. Courtnae is from St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
She holds a BSc in Mathematics with Earth Sciences from the UWI CaveHill Campus Barbados.
