Bio

Cayetano (Caye) Casado is the Regional Specialist for Latin America and the Caribbean at the NDC Partnership Support Unit. He oversees the work the NDC Partnership in the 22 countries in the region where the Partnership is active, coordinating and mobilizing support towards the implementation of the climate commitments of these countries under the Paris Agreement.

Prior to joining WRI, Caye coordinated a Regional Climate Change Program at the UNDP Regional Center in Panama, and more broadly supervising environmental projects implementation at UNDP Cuba country office.

Caye holds a Masters of Environmental Management from Yale University´s School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and he lives north of Miami. Say hi if you come visit!
