Carolyn Turkaly is the Operations Manager for the Center for Equitable Development's Climate Resilience Practice. She provides operational and development support to the CRP team and manages grants and contracts.

Prior to joining WRI, Carolyn was a Project Manager at the Forum for Climate Engineering Assessment, a solar geoengineering and carbon removal governance research center. She also previously worked as the Program Coordinator for American University's Global Environmental Politics Program.

Carolyn holds a B.A. in Political Science from American University. She was a National Park Service Young Leaders in Climate Change Intern, where she developed communication strategies to engage Midwestern residents with local climate impacts and progressed toward her goal of visiting every U.S. national park.
