Carolyn Turkaly
Operations Manager, Center for Equitable Development

Carolyn Turkaly is the Operations Manager for the Center for Equitable Development. She leads budgeting and financial management and grants and contracts management for the Center. She advises on personnel management, strategic planning, and project management.
Prior to joining WRI, Carolyn was a Project Manager at the Forum for Climate Engineering Assessment, a solar geoengineering and carbon removal governance research center. She also previously worked as a National Park Service Young Leaders in Climate Change Intern, where she developed communication strategies to engage Midwestern residents with local climate impacts and progressed toward her goal of visiting every U.S. national park.
Carolyn holds a B.A. in Political Science from American University and is currently pursing a Master's degree in Emergency and Disaster Management from Georgetown University.
