Ariel is a Sustainable Finance Associate in WRI’s Finance Center. She works to develop knowledge products and tools that help investors integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations, particularly those related to climate change, into investment decision-making processes. She also supports the implementation of WRI's sustainable investment strategy for its endowment.

Prior to joining WRI, Ariel conducted research on community-based natural resource management and sustainable rural livelihoods across various regions and sectors. She had previously served as an Investor Relations Associate with the social investment fund Root Capital.

Ariel holds dual master’s degrees in Development Practice and Natural Resources Science & Management from the University of Minnesota, and a B.S. in Development Sociology from Cornell University.
