Ana is a Grants and Finance Specialist within the Forests Program. She works closely with the WRI Mexico office, providing program operations support, as well as financial, grant, and contract management for a BMU-funded project. In addition, she supports the 20x20 Initiative under the Global Restoration Initiative.

Prior to joining WRI, Ana gained valuable program management experience at the Pan American Development Foundation where she worked in the Washington D.C. and Guatemala City offices. Ana has eight years of working with marginalized and underserved populations in the Americas across multiple sectors and roles.

Ana holds a B.A. and M.A. in Forensic Psychology from the City University of New York – John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

In her free time, Ana enjoys volunteering for causes that she is passionate about, reading books, and connecting with the outdoors and nature overall.
