Amy Meyer is a Manager in WRI's Center for Sustainable Business. She leads the Center’s work on corporate climate advocacy, working with companies to achieve alignment between their internal climate objectives and the political influence they exercise. She focuses on identifying barriers companies face in achieving this alignment – “Seven Barriers” – and deploying solutions via the newly launched Climate Policy Pulse initiative. In October 2019, Amy helped found the AAA Framework for Climate Policy Leadership.

Prior to joining WRI, Amy worked as an energy efficiency consultant, specializing in market characterization, program evaluation, and behavior change models. In addition, she also served as the sustainability analyst for a west coast community bank, developing a strategy to quantify lending impact and managing the organization’s federal and state grants.

Amy holds a Master’s (M.C.P.) degree in Urban Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Amy spends her free time reading mystery novels, coming in last place in her MLS fantasy league, and snuggling with her rescue animals.
