Amanda Smith is a Project Coordinator for the NDC Partnership with the Knowledge & Learning team. She works to connect countries with the resources collected through a multitude of ways; dabbling in financials, project management, logistics, and research.

Prior to joining WRI, she was an Americorps VISTA leader in Charleston SC working with local nonprofits and volunteers to strengthen their relationships and the skills of the volunteers. She also was a Peace Corps volunteer in North Macedonia. There she worked with EU grants, youth exchanges, and in project management. Small-scale environmentalism projects were a focus with reusable bag creation and identifying local plants frequent projects.

She is an alumna of Miami University where she received her B.A. in Public Administration and Urban Planning in 2018, and is currently enrolled in the Public Policy Master's program at American University. She wrote her undergraduate capstone on brownfield development in the Midwest.

She lives in DC and in her free time loves to read fantasy/non-fiction, bake, and play board games.
