Almas is a Project Communication Associate with the Energy department at World Resources Institute India. She supports the team in creating and implementing impactful communication and engagement initiatives to enhance WRI's media and online presence.

As a Development Communication specialist, she has worked with various civil society organizations, developing content, branding, and communication strategies to address social issues. Prior to joining WRI, she has worked with organizations such as Breakthrough India, Feminist Approach to Technology, and Oxfam India.

Almas holds a master's degree in development communication from AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia. She also holds a PG Diploma in Women and Gender Studies.

During her leisure time, she enjoys reading books, working on women's rights advocacy and savoring Cinnamon Tea.
