Manager, Corporate Relations and Communications

Bio

Emily Neagle is Manager of Corporate Relations and Communications for the Business Center and Development team at the World Resources Institute. She manages strategic engagements and partnerships of the Corporate Consultative Group – a collection of forward-thinking companies supporting WRI and driving change on the urgent sustainability issues impacting our world. She connects corporate stakeholders to WRIs experts, tools and resources; maintains a robust calendar of collaborative, networking and educational events; manages strategic sustainable business communications; and applies her business intelligence to drive sustainable business outcomes and ambition.

Emily has years of experience managing corporate engagement in the environmental NGO setting. Emily is a trained meeting facilitator who has led more than a hundred teleconferences; wrote a green building insights blog; and designed and delivered several dozen conference presentations and live stakeholder events. While working at the US Green Building Council she grew her program of sector-based, corporate stakeholder groups fivefold. She has a depth of experience with sectors such as industrial manufacturing, retail, food and beverage, finance, hospitality, venues, commercial real estate, commercial construction, and more.

Emily has a BA in Psychology and an MA in Environmental Resource Policy, both from the George Washington University. A longtime DC resident Emily enjoys the areas parks, museums, supporting local business and watching the city evolve. With the addition of so many bike lanes, Emily’s latest hobby is biking around the city to find the newest street art and murals. Emily is also a RYT 200-hour certified yoga instructor.
