WRI is working to improve the information base for innovative decision-making strategies. We are exploring questions such as: what information can best support effective decision making under climate uncertainty? How can information be made available for different stakeholders to effectively choose between adaptation options? What information is vital for effective monitoring and evaluation of adaptation projects?
We are working to provide frameworks and tools to decision makers – ranging from small-scale farmers, to city mayors, to national-level ministers – to take action against climate risks. This includes work on adapting to climate uncertainty in South Asia, the methodological approaches most applicable for monitoring and evaluation for adaptation, and the USAID African and Latin American Resilience to Climate Change Program (ARCC).
