Satellite Imagery

French ERS Processing and Archiving Facility (CERSAT) (Centre ERS d'Archivage et de Traitement)
CERSAT is managed by IFREMER and provides satellite imagery obtained from earth observation satellites. The nature of the data - used to infer sea surface state - is of relevance to the oceanographic community and to those involved in the research/management of coastal systems.

Integration & Application Network
The IAN, run by the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, has an image library with a focus on the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed.

NASA Earth Observatory
NASA’s Earth Observatory collection includes satellite imagery of the planet and global thematic maps in conjunction with relevant datasets (e.g. chlorophyll, sea surface temperature, rainfall, etc).
