EcoCostas is an NGO established in 1998 that aims to promote sustainability and equity in the use of coastal resources in Latin America and the Caribbean. EcoCostas approach is to strengthen the cooperation among the public sector, private sector and civil partnerships to facilitate long-term benefits, development of science, and equity in the use of coastal resources. These factors are considered fundamental to achieve sustainability in coastal environments. The NGO’s website includes general background information on the organization, methods, publications, etc.
