2019 UNSG Climate Action Summit: A Showcase of Ambition

The UN Climate Action Summit in New York City on September 23, 2019 will bring together leaders from government, civil society and the private sector to advance the goals of the international Paris Agreement on Climate Change. UN Secretary-General António Guterres has issued a clear call to attendees: “I want to hear about how we are going to stop the increase in emissions by 2020, and dramatically reduce emissions to reach net-zero by mid-century.”
