Dr. Enric Sala, National Geographic explorer-in-residence and leading conservationist joined Dr. Andrew Steer, WRI President and CEO, and Minister Andrea Meza Murillo, Minister of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica, for a fascinating discussion on why we need nature and all of its species and habitats.

In his book, The Nature of Nature: Why We Need the Wild, Enric crafts a love letter to the planet through stories and imagery. He explores how human health and livelihoods are at risk from our broken relationship with nature and shares real world solutions to turn this around.
