LiveEarth Tickets Go Live

If you are concerned about global warming (and you should be) and you’re a music fan, then you’re in luck. Tickets for LiveEarth start going on sale today.

LiveEarth is an extraordinary event happening on July 7, 2007. It’s a concert with performances on all 7 continents (presumably including Antarctica) within a 24-hour time span. It will be seen and heard on television, radio, film, the internet, and of course in person by hundreds of thousands of music fans.

The global summer event is designed to raise awareness about global warming. It’s a project of Save Our Selves (SOS): a partnership between producer Kevin Wall, former Vice President Al Gore (a WRI board member), the Alliance for Climate Protection, the Climate Group, and MSN. So far they’ve announced locations for Europe (London) and North America (Giants Stadium in New Jersey). Tickets for the London concert go on sale today; the New Jersey concert goes on sale Monday, April 16th. Stay tuned for the locations of other concerts.
