This month, Jacob (Jake) Werksman joins WRI as Program Director for the Governance and Access Program.
Jake has a long track record of work in international law, access, and development:
- Senior Advisor to the Global Inclusion Program at the Rockefeller Foundation
- Advisor to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
- Ten years as lawyer, director, and government advisor at the Foundation for International Environmental Law and Development (FIELD)
Besides being WRI’s new Governance and Access Director, Jake is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at New York University, and an active Member of the State Bar of California.
