 <description>&lt;p&gt;Gain instant, portable access to the EarthTrends database on global conditions and trends with the EarthTrends Data CD-ROM.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;This time-saving research and reference tool contains all of the economic, population, natural resource, and environmental statistics contained in the EarthTrends website and a full text version of the latest World Resources report, &lt;i&gt;The Wealth of the Poor: Managing Ecosystems to Fight Poverty&lt;/i&gt;.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;View country-level, time-series information on over 600 indicators, each with detailed metadata documenting data collection, research methodologies, and data reliability. Statistical, graphic, and analytical information are compiled from over 40 internationally recognized sources. In addition, the CD-ROM contains hundreds of maps and dozens of feature stories describing the global environment. The CD-ROM is organized into 10 topic areas to help you locate information within our comprehensive database.
